147. Sais - (Saal-Hajan)

The city of Sais, a bishop's see since the 4th century, was situated near Kafr az-Zayat, north of Sa al-Hagar. It is displaced on the Madaba map (see above: on the Saitic arm). The simple representation is almost completely lost.
