Phoenicia and Galilee

4. Acchabaron ('Akbara)

The fragment shows a section of the Galilaean mountains, bordered in the west by a plain. At the right edge we see the fragmentary representation of a village with a red-roofed church, and above it the inscription: Agbaron.

Likewise, I (Josephus) walled several villages in Upper Galilee, through they are very rocky of themselves, namely, Iamnia, Meroth, and Acharabe. (Josephus, Life,187-188)
