117. Bethagidea - (Kh. al-Jindi)

A gate flanked by two towers, in each side one trapeze.

For thus is the custom of the Palestinians to reward their eminent men, like for instance Aurelius of Anthedon, Alexion of Bethagathon and Alaphion of Asalea. (Sozomenus, Historia Ecclesiastica, III,14:28)
